| Curriculum Development — Participate in development and review of academic curricula; contribute to improvement of teaching methodologies |
| Financial Responsibility Participates in research grant applications and research funding initiatives, and ensures proper use of academic facilities and teaching resources |
| Operational / Technical Responsibilities |
| Research and Publication — Conduct research contributing to advancement of knowledge; publish research findings in reputable academic journals |
| Research and Scholarly Activities — Conduct research and publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed academic journals; participate in research projects and conferences |
| Responsibility for Physical Assets Utilizes teaching facilities including lecture rooms, laboratories, and academic equipment. |
| Stakeholder Engagement — Participate in academic conferences and professional forums; engage with industry and professional bodies |
| Student Supervision — Supervise undergraduate research projects and assist in postgraduate supervision; provide academic guidance and mentorship |
| Student Support — Provide academic advising and mentorship to students; support student research and academic development |
| Teaching Administration — Prepare and deliver lectures and academic materials in accordance with approved curricula; conduct assessments including examinations and coursework evaluations. |
