Minimum Requirements
• 3 years' university teaching or research experience is an added advantage, with evidence of research publications or academic research potential.
A relevant Master's degree registered for PhD candidature to be considered Professional Qualifications / Membership
PhD in Midwifery or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.

Academic Governance — Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees
Curriculum Development — Participate in development and review of academic curricula; contribute to improvement of teaching methodologies
Financial Responsibility Participates in research grant applications and research funding initiatives, and ensures proper use of academic facilities and teaching resources
Operational / Technical Responsibilities
Research and Publication — Conduct research contributing to advancement of knowledge; publish research findings in reputable academic journals
Research and Scholarly Activities — Conduct research and publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed academic journals; participate in research projects and conferences
Responsibility for Physical Assets Utilizes teaching facilities including lecture rooms, laboratories, and academic equipment.
Stakeholder Engagement — Participate in academic conferences and professional forums; engage with industry and professional bodies
Student Supervision — Supervise undergraduate research projects and assist in postgraduate supervision; provide academic guidance and mentorship
Student Support — Provide academic advising and mentorship to students; support student research and academic development
Teaching Administration — Prepare and deliver lectures and academic materials in accordance with approved curricula; conduct assessments including examinations and coursework evaluations.
Teaching and Learning — Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; prepare course outlines, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
