| 1. Academic and Institutional Leadership: Provide overall leadership and management of the TVET institution. Ensure development, review, and delivery of competency-based curricula. Promote a learner-centered and industry-responsive training environment. |
| 2. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with TVETA standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. Coordinate accreditation, audits, and continuous quality improvement processes. Uphold training, assessment, and certification standards. |
| 3. Industry Linkages and Partnerships: Establish and strengthen partnerships with industry, government, and training institutions. Promote industrial attachment, apprenticeship, and employability programmes. |
| 4. Administration and Resource Management: Manage human, financial, and physical resources efficiently. Oversee budgeting, procurement, and utilization of TVET facilities and equipment. Ensure effective governance, risk management, and internal controls. |
| 5. Staff and Student Management: Supervise staff performance, training, and professional development. Ensure learner welfare, discipline, safety, and support services. |
| 6. Strategic Planning and Reporting: Implement the TVET strategic and operational plans. Prepare and submit periodic reports to Management and Council. |
