. Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable);
2) Have supervised since appointment as Lecturer, at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion.
3) Have attended and contributed at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
4) Have evidence of continued research and/or effective teaching.
5) Have evidence of contribution to university/research institution through activities such as participation in departmental management, students’ academic/research advising, school or university/institutional meetings, committee membership and related matters.
6) Demonstrate community involvement (e.g. Member of BOG, SMC etc.)
a) Three (3) articles in refereed journals for Senior Lecturer and five (5) articles for Senior Research Fellow OR
b) One (1) refereed book in candidate’s professional area published by recognised publishers plus one (1) article OR
c) Two (2) book chapters in an edited book in the relevant area and one (1) article in refereed journal OR
d) Two (2) distinguished exhibitions or performance of original creation plus one (1) article in refereed journal.
Have a minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as Lecturer at University level or six (6) years as Research Fellow at Research institution /Industry experience.
Leadership and coordination at institutional, departmental, school and community level
Proposal, report and research paper writing
Publications Must have published any of the following since the last promotion to Lecturer/Research Fellow: A minimum of;
Teaching and/or research and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students
