. Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable); |
2) Have supervised since appointment as Lecturer, at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion. |
3) Have attended and contributed at learned conferences, seminars or workshops. |
4) Have evidence of continued research and/or effective teaching. |
5) Have evidence of contribution to university/research institution through activities such as participation in departmental management, students’ academic/research advising, school or university/institutional meetings, committee membership and related matters. |
6) Demonstrate community involvement (e.g. Member of BOG, SMC etc.) |
a) Three (3) articles in refereed journals for Senior Lecturer and five (5) articles for Senior Research Fellow OR |
b) One (1) refereed book in candidate’s professional area published by recognised publishers plus one (1) article OR |
c) Two (2) book chapters in an edited book in the relevant area and one (1) article in refereed journal OR |
d) Two (2) distinguished exhibitions or performance of original creation plus one (1) article in refereed journal. |
Have a minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as Lecturer at University level or six (6) years as Research Fellow at Research institution /Industry experience. |
Leadership and coordination at institutional, departmental, school and community level |
Proposal, report and research paper writing |
Publications Must have published any of the following since the last promotion to Lecturer/Research Fellow: A minimum of; |
Teaching and/or research and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students |
